Coven (Ashes of Your Demise), 2024

As a witch, I try to only approach things from a benevolent standpoint and be of aid, causing harm to none… but many, many nights I have meditated on this phrase, watching as a chime candle burns down into a cauldron of papers written with the cruelties and injustices of the world. Even if I can’t do anything about them, I can wait for their end, because it all ends. As much as things hurt now, as awful as things are, I will last long enough to see them go, and we will all dance upon the ashes of your demise.
