Dragons Blood, Intaglio Print, 2016
I took a printmaking class while in college, and learned printmaking can be really hard, haha! This piece involved etching an acrylic sheet with a stylus, then applying ink to the panel and manually erasing what I didn’t want to transfer to paper. It took me about an hour per print, and I had to make at least ten! I anointed each print with dragons blood oil, so they were blessed and smelled lovely.
