I drew this piece during the election season of 2016, in personal protest of Trump and his statement of grabbing women by the pussy. I chose flowers that represent femininity and strength, and thorned vines.
I lasercut the design onto wood panel, and then carved the background out by hand (I wanted an embossing effect to the paper). The wood block was then inked and run through an industrial printing press to create this!
